Farwell Legends in Blue had a great showing at the UIL Solo and Ensemble contest on Friday Feb. 27 in Abernathy, Texas.
The Brass Quintet (Noah, Alex, Kelsi, Isaiah, and Shaddix) and The Flute Quartet (Jayson, Katarina, Mia, and Ruby) both received a 1 (Outstanding) and Advanced to State!
Jayson and Noah also recieved 1’s on their solos and will advance with those pieces as well!
Our Trombone quartet (Bianca, Angel, Jeremiah, and Aleta) and our saxophone trio (Jenny, Bryson, and Cely) both received a 2 (Excellent)! Our kids did a great job!
