Family Picture
My name is Lisa Norman.  I grew up in Odessa, Texas and graduated from Permian High School in 1984.  While attending Odessa College, I met my husband, Coby Norman.  We married in 1986 and moved to Lubbock, Texas to attend Texas Tech University.  I received my bachelors degree in 1990.  This year I will start my 30th year of teaching.  During my time as an educator, I have had the privilege of teaching 1st-8th grade, Music, Art, served as a campus testing coordinator and curriculum director. My family and I have lived in many wonderful communities and Farwell is no exception!  I am looking forward to teaching 8th grade Reading and Language Arts!

30 Book Challenge

* Goal - to read 30 middle-grade books during the             school year

* Read a wide variety of genres

* Books between 251-500 pages count as 2 books

   Books over 500 pages will count as 3 books

* Picture books or Comic books must be approved to         count toward the goal

We will independently read for 15-20 minutes of every class period and conference with the teacher at least 2 times a week to discuss our reading.
