Five young ladies qualified to compete at the STATE UIL Academic Meet in Austin on May 18. A fantastic time was had by the students and sponsors alike, and Austin may in fact be a little weirder since their departure!
The Spelling team placed 4th in the STATE! What a huge accomplishment! The team consists of:
Wylie Osterkamp - 5th individually at STATE
Kylie McFarland
Alli McFarland
Millie Nichols
Also competing was Averey Miller. Her event was Feature Writing! While she did not place in the top 6, we know she will be back next year!!
If you see these ladies around town, please congratulate them on ALL of their hard work and many successes this year at the District, Regional and STATE levels! Whew! Job well done!
